The Olduvai Gorge was pioneered by the English couple Louis and Mary Leaky in the 1960s, and a small museum honors their discoveries. The Ngorongoro Simba "A" Campsite provides dinner and overnight lodging.

We will leave Karatu and visit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti National Park.
