tarangireDAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ZANZIBAR
When your plane lands in Zanzibar, your taxi driver will meet you in the airport parking lot and take you to the Shaba Boutique Hotel, where you will spend your first night recovering from your long flight. The Shaba Boutique Hotel sits in Stone Town's historic quarter, close to a number of restaurants serving lunch and dinner.

The taxi will drive you to Zanzibar Airport, from which you will fly to Arusha. At Arusha International Airport, your driving guide will accompany you on the journey to Tarangire National Park, known for its elephant migration, birds, and authentic safari atmosphere. At the end of the afternoon game drive, you will make your way to Africa Safari Lake Manyara, where you will have time to unwind before dinner under the stars and a good night's sleep.

DAY 3 : NGORONGORO CRATER MAGIC
Make an early start today to avoid missing your descent into the famous Ngorongoro Crater. The Crater is the world's biggest unbroken volcanic caldera, 3 million years old and 20 square kilometers in area. It is home to the Big Five and the endangered black rhino, as well as hyenas, zebras, buffalo, and elephants. At the end of the afternoon, guests return to Africa Safari Lake Manyara for a night's relaxation.

DAY 4 : MTO WA MBU TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
The journey from Lake Manyara to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and then to Serengeti National Park will take you through the Maasai heartland, home to the Conservation area's sole tribespeople. The Maasai people have a rich culture and live in harmony with the ground, relying on their family knowledge of plant life for survival. Along the way, you will see giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. By the time you arrive at Africa Safari Serengeti Ikoma lodge, you will have had your first taste of game drive and the Serengeti National Park's 14,000+ square kilometers.

DAY 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
You will visit the Serengeti North after breakfast which is less visited than the southern and central Serengeti, resulting in a more private safari experience. At Africa Safari Maasai Boma, guests will spend the night in a modern-style replica of a traditional Maasai earth hut with an en-suite bathroom and king-size bed. The northern Serengeti is less visited than the southern and central Serengeti, resulting in fewer automobiles on the road and a more 'private' safari experience.

DAY 6 : FLY SERENGETI – ZANZIBAR
The final game drive in the Serengeti will end at the Seronera airstrip for a flight back to Zanzibar Airport. Upon arrival, the driver guide will take you to Reef & Beach Resort, where you will check in to a Suite Mangrove/Pool view on an all-inclusive food plan. At the resort, you can enjoy spa treatments, massages, poolside tanning, and ocean swimming, as well as scuba diving or day trips.

DAY 7: ZANZIBAR
Relax at the Reef & Beach Resort after breakfast or plan an additional adventure. Tanzania's most popular beach location is Zanzibar. Aside from the sea and beaches, there is Stone Town, spice plantations, snorkeling, diving, and canoeing.

DAY 8: TRANSFER TO ZANZIBAR AIRPORT
A van will be waiting for you after breakfast and check-out to bring you to Zanzibar Airport for your return journey.
