DAY 1: DRIVE TO KIBALE FOR CHIMPANZEE TRACKING
Today you will travel south to Kibale, recognized as the world's primate capital and home to about 13 distinct species of monkeys. You'll stop for lunch along the route. After a long travel, you may unwind at the lodge or go on a guided tour of the area. Dinner and an overnight stay in a lovely eucalyptus grove.
DAY 2 : CHIMPANZEE TRACKING AND TRASFER TO BWINDI IMPENATRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Drive to Kibale Forest National Park for a briefing after an early breakfast, a tropical rainforest known as the "Monkey Capital of the World" due to its 13 distinct monkey species. A park ranger will later separate you into small groups and lead you into the forest. This activity takes around three hours to complete, including one hour in their company. It is recommended that you bring ample drinking water with you. After the activities, you will be taken to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to visit the gorillas.
DAY 3: GORILLA TRACKING IN TO BWINDI IMPENATRABLE NATIONAL PARK TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI
After an early breakfast, you will travel to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park's jungle briefing area to hear more about your Mountain Gorilla adventure. It is advised that you bring plenty of drinking water as well as a lunch box. You may hire a potter for $15 USD to carry your load and assist you in slippery or steep portions of the forest. Following the briefing, you are divided into groups of eight and led by a park ranger into the forest for an hour with the gentle giants. Because Bwindi is a tropical jungle, rain gear is required.You will be driven to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda's most beautiful lake, where you will be able to swim, relax, and see local communities.
DAY 4: DRIVE BACK TO ENTEBBE
You will return to Entebbe International Airport after your vacation at Lake Bunyonyi. You will be able to cross the Equator and purchase souvenirs. If you want to stay a little longer or engage in an extra activity, you can do so for an extra cost.
