DAY 1: KIGALI
You'll land at Kigali International Airport (TBA).
Akagera Aviation can help you arrange a meet & greet. Our representative will then get you through customs and immigration and meet you outside.
Upon arrival, transfer to your city hotel and get check-in assistance.
The tour briefing will take place in the lobby. Dinner will be served at the hotel's main restaurant.
Then you'll spend the night at the hotel.
DAY 2: VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
Check out after breakfast at the hotel.
At 8:00 a.m., take a city tour that includes the Kigali Genocide Memorial.
Visit the Kigali Art Gallery and the Kimironko local market at 11:30 a.m.
Lunch will be served at the Khana Kazana Restaurant or somewhere comparable.
At 2:30 p.m., enjoy a scenic drive to Musanze and Volcanoes National Park.
Arrive to the lodge after around two and a half hours and you'll be handed a glass of welcome drink.
Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the next day's activities.
The lodge will host dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 3: VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
Take breakfast before driving to the park headquarters for a 7:00 a.m. briefing.
Then, at 8:00 a.m., we'll take you to the trailhead for your guided gorilla walk. Tracking takes between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the gorilla troop you visit.
Going gorilla tracking in Rwanda is frequently seen as a life-changing experience for a good cause. With only 880 gorillas left in the world, witnessing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat is really memorable.
After this adventure, return to the resort for lunch. Check out, get in the car, and go to Kigali at 2:00 p.m.
Fly into Kigali International Airport.
Bid farewell to your driver-guide and continue to your outgoing flight check-in.
