TAKWA RUINS
The Takwa Ruins are the remains of a prosperous Swahili trade settlement that vanished in the seventeenth century. It is a historical location with a distinctive mosque and a massive pillar that is thought to represent the grave of a sheik. In Manda Island's south-easterly corner are the ruins. Picnics and camping for the night are both permitted there.
KIUNGA MARINE NATIONAL RESERVE
It is a pristine habitat made up of coral reefs, dunes, and a chain of about 50 offshore islands. Sea turtles, lobsters, sea urchins, reef fish, sea stars, and crabs are just a few of the aquatic creatures that call the reserve home. Diving, windsurfing, snorkeling, water skiing, and sunbathing are all excellent activities there.
LAMU MUSEUM
Lamu Museum is located in the Lamu Archipelago. It has intriguing displays and artifacts that showcase the material culture of coastal populations including the Boni, Pokomo, and Orma.
LAMU FORT
The multi-story structure was constructed between 1813 and 1821. It has a library as well as an environmental museum. The marine, freshwater, and terrestrial areas of the environmental museum are separated. The fort is mostly utilized for community activities and events.
THE SWAHILI HOUSE MUSEUM
The museum is situated in Lamu's northernmost neighborhood. It allows visitors to see a traditional Swahili home's layout. A Swahili home is depicted, complete with tidy, equipped living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms.
MANDA TOTO
It is one of the islands of the Lamu Archipelago. It is the best spot for snorkeling on the Lamu Archipelago.
GERMAN POST OFFICE MUSEUM
