SHIMBA HILLS NATIONAL RESERVE

Around 33 kilometers south of Mombasa, in the Kwale area, is where you'll find the reserve. Elephants, the threatened sable antelope, giraffes, leopards, several bird species, hyenas, various reptile species, vervet, and Sykes monkeys are just a few of the reserve's main draws. The reserve provides an ideal setting for camping, outdoor walks, and wildlife viewing activities. Inside the reserve are Sheldrick Falls and the Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary.

WASINI ISLAND

wasini beachThe island is located around 3 kilometers away from the Shimoni port village's harbor. It is the ideal location for dolphin viewing, dhow sailing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. The island has top-notch seafood as well.

CHALE MARINE PARK AND RESERVE

The reserve is 250 hectares in size. It was created in 1995 to save the coastal region's coral reef. The reserve provides observation tours, aquatic activities, and maritime pursuits including sailing, dhow fishing cruises, and snorkeling. It is situated on the stunning Chale Island.

COLOBUS CONSERVATION CENTRE

It is located at Diani on Kenya's south coast. It is a primate rehabilitation center where a colony of habituated colobus monkeys resides. You may go there to have a narrated primate eco-tour. Typically, it is open Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm.

JUNGLE SNAKE PARK

It's in the Ukunda town of Mwamanga. Several types of snakes, turtles, crocodiles, tortoises, and other tiny reptiles may be found in the park. Monday through Saturday, it is typically open from 9 am until 5.30 pm.

KAYA KINONDO FOREST

It is the only publicly accessible holy woodland along the Kenyan coast. For the Digo people, it is a holy woodland and a site of prayer. It is truly a lovely spot to come and learn about the Digo people's traditional customs, takes nature hikes, and go birding.

DIANI BEACH ART GALLERY

It was formally inaugurated in September 2010 to promote fine African art both locally and globally through the display, sale, and support of African artwork inside the gallery's physical location. The location is ideal for seeing and purchasing a variety of paintings, sculptures, and framed and unframed photographs.

TIWI BEACH

It is a serene beach that can be found on Kenya's south coast. Swimming, snorkeling, and other water sports are perfect there. The beach is home to several beachfront inns and hotels.

KISITE MPUNGUTI MARINE PARK

It is located in Shimoni, 11 kilometers off the coast of Kenya, amid the coral gardens south of Wasini Island. It was created to save beautiful islands and unique marine mammal habitats along the Kenyan Coast. It is one of the top locations for camping, sunbathing, bird viewing, snorkeling, and diving.
